Flooding can be a serious issue mostly when residences or infrastructure is damaged. By studying local hydrology many of these issues can be either overted or solved.

Due to the recent years of extreme flooding, Conservation Districts across New York state have been planning and helping local governments secure funding to solve failing infrastructure.

Most recently through our participation in the Mohawk River Coalition was the replacement of the N.East Avenue bridge.
